It is believed that all these phantasmal happenings are because of the land once served as the fighting grounds for the Sultans of Nizam and therefore thousands of soldiers who died there were laid to rest in the premises. It is said that the apparitions of the dead soldiers wander around, lurking in the shadows of changing rooms, tearing clothes, knocking the locked doors. It is also said that the ghosts are especially menacing to women.

Ramoji film city is located at a distance of 30 kilometres from the city of Hyderabad on NH-9, near Anajpur village, Hayathnagar Mandal. It is one of the most popular sightseeing places of Hyderabad.
