The prime attraction of this Ghat is the evening aarti (also called MAHA AARTI) which is attended by thousands of devotees from all over the world. This Maha Aarti takes places with lot of lightings and drums making an amazing atmosphere.

This temple is located near the Triveni Ghat and is the oldest temple of Rishikesh. It was constructed by Adi Shankaracharya in the 9th Century. (4) Neelkanth Mahadev Temple

This is a Lord Shiva Temple located at about 12 km from the Rishikesh City. This is one of the most visited temple & tourist attractions in Rishikesh. It is said that a venomous liquid was consumed by Lord Shiva at this place which made his throat blue.

(5) Lakshman Jhula

Laxman Jhula is kept on the name of the younger brother of Lord Rama. This is a suspension bridge and was constructed in 1939. It has temples on both its sides and the sacred rives ganges beneath it. You can see the 13 storey Kailashananda Ashram from Laxman Jhula. Kailashananda Ashram’s each storey is dedicated to a different diety.

(6) Ram Jhula

Ram Jhula is a suspension bridge kept on the name of Lord Rama. It is one of the prime tourist attractions in Rishikesh for tourists as it has a number of ashrams adjoining it Gita Bhawan & Swarga Ashram. It is located at about 3 km from Rishikesh City.

(7) Gita Bhavan

Gita Bhawan is located near the suspension bridge Laxman Jhula. It has a more than 100 rooms for tourists and has ancient paintings all over. You can also see the stories of Indian epics Ramayana and Mahabharata beautifully portrayed on its walls.
