9. Wagah Border

Wagah Border is an India-Pakistan border located at about 30 km from Amritsar City of Punjab. If you are visiting Amritsar for Golden Temple, you must not miss the ‘Beating the Retreat’ ceremony at Wagah Border. This is a daily ceremony in which both Indian & Pakistani flags are lowered, changed and raised back again. Before the ceremony takes place, a parade takes place at both the sides of the border.
