Bajaj Pulsar 150 Classic launched at Rs.67437 in India

The well-known brand of Indian bikes Bajaj Pulsar range has got yet another model.

This time, Bajaj has offered another version of the Pulsar, which will be known as 150 Classic. The version will be priced at Rs. 67,437.

The company has clarified that the Pulsar 150 Classic will be a no frill variant of the new Pulsar 150. It will be devoid of the graphics, tank extensions, the split-seat and the rear disc brake. That will save on the cost.

Initially, the bike has been planned for Maharashtra only, but will soon extend to other states of the country. The price of this version of the Bajaj Pulsar 150 Classic has been kept about Rs. 10,000 cheaper.

For a segment of its users, the price difference of Rs 10k is a huge one. Though there are no official words from the company, the model has reached various dealerships and deliveries have begun too.

This new Bajaj Pulsar 150 Classic is available only in one colour with the dealers– black.

If we look at its competitive pricing, the Pulsar 150 Classic can be regarded as one of the most affordable variants of the Pulsar 150. It has the honour of the second most affordable Pulsar model after the Pulsar 135 LS.

How could the price have got by the company? The answer is simple. It makes use of the same engine as on the other version. Technically, it is a 149 cc single cylinder unit that makes 14 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 13.4 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. A few more features like the chassis, gearbox, suspension and brakes have remained the same.

The Bajaj Pulsar 150 Classic will be pitted against the Hero Achiever 150 and the Honda Unicorn in the competitive market of two-wheelers.
