Situated on the top of a hillock, the Hidimba Devi Temple is surrounded by thick deodar forests on all sides. This beautiful place of worship is a major attraction due to its historical roots which dates back to the year 1553. The temple is dedicated to the infamous Rakshasa Hidimba (the wife of the Pandava Bhima). The structure of the temple is built with a unique architecture a bit similar to the Buddhist monasteries. The structure is made mainly of wood. You will also find another temple also lays the temple dedicated to Ghatotkacha (the son of Bhima and Hidimba popular as a hero of the Mahabharatha war) about 70 meters from it.
