1) Taj Falaknuma Palace

Taj Falaknuma Palace is one of the finest palaces in Hyderabad, Telangana. The word ‘Falaknuma’ means Mirror of the Sky. This beautiful palace is owned by Nizam of Hyderabad. It is beautifully designed by an English architect. It took about 9 years to finish it. The shape of the palace is Scorpion with 2 stings spread of the wings in the north. Its middle part is occupied by the main building and the kitchen, Bol Bangla, Zenana Mehal and Harem Quarters stretch to the south.

This palace has rooms decorated lavishly and 22 spacious halls. It got renovated in 2000 and it opened it in 2010. You must have visited many hotels around the country but this one is super luxurious with perfect staff. The rooms are beautifully designed and bathrooms are amazing. This hotel is in the most magnificent settings with fantastic view. WORDS CAN’T DESCRIBE THE GRANDEUR OF THE PALACE .

2) Golkonda Fort

Golkonda is also known as Golla Konda which means Shepherd’s Hill, a fort of Southern India and the medieval sultanate of the Qutab Shahi Dynasty. Golconda Fort used to have a vault where koh-i-noor and other diamonds were stored. It is listed as an archaeological treasure on the official ‘List of Monuments’. The fort is known for its magical acoustic system. There are 2 pavilions on the outer side of Golkonda are the attractions of the fort. The kala Mandir is also located in the fort. The main gate is decorated with large pointed iron spikes.

3) Chowmahalla Palace

Chowmahalla Palace is a unique monument in Hyderabad. It was once regarded as the center of Hyderabad. This palace was the seat of the Asaf Nahi Dynasty where the Nizams use to entertain their loving guests. Chowmahalla is well known for its unique style. This palace covers 45 acres but now only 12 % is remaining. It was built in the classic style.

4) Charminar

The Charminar was constructed in 1591 CE. It is situated on the east bank of the river. It’s a monument and the mosque located in Hyderabad. This was constructed in the intersection of the historical trade route. It is in square structure with each side 20 m, with 4 grand arches each facing  a fundamental point which opens into 4 streets. Its made of Granite, limestone, mortar and marble.

5) Peddamma Temple

Pedamma temple is located at the road no. 55 of Jubilee Hills. It’s a Hindu temple quite famous during festive season of Bonaalu. Peddamma consists of mainly 2 words ‘Pedda’ and ‘Amma’ which means Mother of Mothers or The supreme Mother. Its a must visit place during festive season which usually occurs in June- July. People offer their prayers to the mother round the year and Mother is well known for her blessings. Two mega events are celebrated in February that are Mahotsavan and Rathotsavan.

6) Qutub Shahi Tombs

Qutab Shahi Tombs, Hyderabad

The Qutub Shahi Tombs are located close to the famous Golkonda Fort in Hyderabad, India. These are the tomb of Hayath Bakashi Begum. In each tomb at the center there is a Sarcophagus which lies in the actual burial vault in the Crypt below. The tombs are domed structures built on square base surrounded by pointed arches and then the tombs were elegantly and beautifully furnished by carpets, chandelier and velvet canopies.

7) Maula Ali Dargah

Maula Ali Dargah is a religious place. It is located in a suburb of Hyderabad at about 10 km from Secunderabad. The dargah is one of the 11 beautiful heritage sites identified by the Heritage conversation Committee of HUDA. It is a major commercial hub. If you want to visit this place then it is well connected by buses run by Telangana state road transport corporation. This beautiful dargah is covered with thousands of tiny mirrors.

The Dargah is open on all days from morning 8:00  am – 10:00 pm. Best time for visiting here is from October to March. It is an ideal place to visit along with family and Elders.

10) Mahavir Harina Vanasthali National Park

Mahavir Harina Vanasthali National Park, Hyderabad

Mahavir Harina Vanasthali National Park is a Deer National park located in Vanasthalipuram, Hyderabad in the Indian state of Telangula. It’s the largest green lung space and is spread over 3,758 acres. This park was named after mahavir, a Jain Saint. This was basically settled up in order to preserve this precious heritage .
