This is the longest route of all. If you want to take Yamuna Expressway to reach from Noida to Agra and then you want to move towards the Etawah – Kanpur road, you can follow this route. Route 2 : Delhi – Faridabad – Palwal – Mathura – Agra – Lucknow (Via Agra-Lucknow Expressway)

If you want to follow NH-19(Earlier known as NH-2) to reach Agra from Delhi, you can take this route i.e., if you want to pass through the usual national highway through Faridabad, Palwal, Mathura and Agra. From Agra, you can follow the Agra-Lucknow expressway to reach Lucknow. Time taken to reach Lucknow by this route is 9 hours and 3 minutes.

Best Road Route from Delhi to Lucknow

Route 3 : Delhi – Noida – Agra (Via Yamuna Expressway) – Lucknow (Via Agra-Lucknow Expressway)

Road Route from Delhi to Lucknow via Expressway

This is undoubtedly the best and shortest road route from Delhi to Lucknow via Yamuna Expressway. This is even the easiest of all routes as you just need to start on the Yamuna Expressway from Greater Noida to Agra and continue towards Lucknow on the Agra-Lucknow Express to reach Lucknow. Time taken to reach Lucknow by this route is just 7 hours and 21 minutes which is the fastest of all routes.

Important Note : Although there another route which is the least used now by the people who specifically want to reach Lucknow from Delhi. Delhi – Ghaziabad – Moradabad – Bareilly – Farrukhabad – Kannauj – Lucknow  : This is road route from Delhi to Lucknow via Bareilly but as it doesn’t go through any expressway it takes about 11 hours to reach Lucknow by this route. The total distance by this route is 559 km.
