Amitabh Bachchan shares a throwback picture with Jaya Bachchan on their 45th Wedding Anniversary

Marriage anniversaries are an opportunity for introspection of the yesteryears for the couple in question in a positive way. In the case of Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bhaduri, it was travelling down the memory lane when as a young man, he had offered a flower of rose on a stage.

Big B shared the black and white pictures of the gone era, on twitter. He thanked every well-wisher who sent them roses and wishes.

The ageing celebrity Amitabh Bachchan, who recently did a promo for his ‘102 Not Out’ is enjoying the appreciation that had been accrued to him. Amitabh has donned the role of Rishi Kapor’s father in the movie. It’s just a weird fact to know that both actors have shared the screen together, after a considerable time of almost three decades.

Regarding the view of the movie, as perceived by Jaya, Amitabh Bachchan says that she hardly say anything about his work but after seeing this movie Jaya had something to say. She said that the small film is certainly going to shine in the face of all the big-ticket movies. She feels that people would like to love this film which is a way different from everything else around.

In a chat programme on national TV, the invincible couple– Jaya Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan earlier had discussed their first meeting and love life.

He said that the thing which caught his attention most was her sparkling and expressive eyes. Later, Hrishikesh Mukherjee came up with the script of Guddi to him. Amitabh was happy at the prospect of being cast opposite the star of his choice, the Jaya.

In the same interview, Jaya Bachchan had told the viewers how frightened she was when she first met Amitabh Bachchan in person. Jaya recalled how he dictated her to do things and she readily did them. She even confessed how she does things to keep him in good humour. Jaya agreed that it was not a love at first sight, neither for her nor for him.
