On 25th March, Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned that he was upset with the misdemeanour shown by some individuals against airlines crew, doctors, or staff working for the dispatch of essential services. These are the individuals working on the frontline to combat the coronavirus.

As per the Prime Minister, the Mahabharata War lasted about 18 days. However, the war against coronavirus might require 21 days or more depending on how things unravel in future. The PM has listed out the helpline number, which is 9013151515 for the individuals in need during these times of crisis.

He further mentioned that this deadly virus won’t differentiate between the poor or the rich. So, both are advised to stay at home while practising the act of social distancing. The Prime Minister also pointed out to the fact that positive news like 1 lakh+ COVID-19 patients being successfully treated should also be highlighted to keep up the hope in the country.

According to his statement, the government has now engaged in a tie-up with WhatsApp for creation of a helpdesk that provides credible and fact-checked information regarding coronavirus. He stated that individuals in white taking care of the patients in clinics and hospitals now are nothing less than god and we need to respect this fact.
