San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch have made things clear this offseason with the quarterback battle. Trey Lance will be the full-time starter, and Jimmy Garoppolo will be moving on before the 2022 NFL regular season begins, though.
The backup quarterback will be Nate Sudfeld. Jimmy Garoppolo has done things well for the organization, but it is time to move on for all parties.
Lots of people are interested in the NFL right now. However, there are other people who are interested in similar sports and their predictions like premier league predictions, to remain updated with that sport too. Nonetheless, there is a question about Grappolo we want t figure out, where are some of the potential destinations for Jimmy Garoppolo once he is released, though?
The Seattle Seahawks will be an intriguing candidate. Seattle has either Drew Lock or Geno Smith as the projected Week 1 starter. The plan might be for head coach Pete Carroll and the Seattle Seahawks to tank the season. Jimmy Garoppolo might be the favorite to land in Seattle, but it doesn’t seem to make sense for both parties though.
The Seahawks might have one of the worst rosters on paper this season and are extremely bad defensively, though. Seattle is in a very tough division in the NFC West. Jimmy Garoppolo would not have the defensive support with the Seattle Seahawks as he did with the San Francisco 49ers.
New York Giants
The New York Giants and Jimmy Garoppolo might make sense for both parties. New York might be fed up with Daniel Jones after the preseason. Jones has been horrendous, according to various reports out of the New York Giants training camp, though.
The Giants have offensive talent on their roster. The offensive line has improved. Saquon Barkley, Kenny Golladay, Kadarius Toney, and Wan’Dale Robinson will be the primary focus, along with tight-end rookie Daniel Bellinger.
The defense isn’t bad. Head coach Brian Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen may want to win some games in Year 1, and they don’t want to start Tyrod Taylor in 17 games if Daniel Jones flops.
The Cleveland Browns are going to potentially be a dumpster fire this season once again. Deshaun Watson has been suspended for six games, and the NFL appealed it. It is possible that Watson might get at least 12 or more games. Jacoby Brissett will be the starting quarterback for the meantime for head coach Kevin Stefanski though.
Browns fans might want to make Premier League picks to keep their minds off this football team whether or not Jimmy Garoppolo decides to join it. Garoppolo may not want to join a dysfunctional franchise.
The Pittsburgh Steelers feel like a total long shot, but you never know what is going to happen with the quarterback controversy over there. As of right now, Mitchell Trubisky is the lead candidate to start, and Kenny Pickett will be the backup. If something happens to Trubisky, they may not want to start Pickett in Week 1 under head coach Mike Tomlin though.
Jimmy Garoppolo would be a much better option than Mason Rudolph, and the fanbase would revolt if Rudolph started any games for the Steelers this season. Some Steelers fans love to see the Premier League predictions today because some of them are big soccer fans as well, though.
The Carolina Panthers are in disarray at the quarterback position. As of right now, though, it is a battle between Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield. Matt Corral, a rookie who was a third-round pick out of Ole Miss, is also on the Panthers roster. Carolina has nothing set in stone as of yet.
Jimmy Garoppolo to the Carolina Panthers could make things interesting for head coach Matt Rhule. However, one of the things that are not very good for Carolina is their offensive line play, but drafting Ikey Eknowu out of North Carolina State sixth overall in the 2022 NFL Draft might bolster it.
Christian McCaffrey, Chuba Hubbard, Robbie Anderson, D.J. Moore, Terrace Marshall Jr., Tommy Tremble, and Ian Thomas will be some of the playmakers on the Carolina Panthers for him to work with, though.
