NEET 2020 admit card will not release today; check new exam dates

NEW DELHI: The admit cards for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) will not be released on March 27, 2020, as mentioned in the prospectus issued by National Testing Agency (NTA). As per the latest reports, due to Coronavirus lockdown, DG NTA has postponed NEET UG admit card. Now, the new NEET 2020 admit card release date will be announced after the lockdown. Along with this, due to the severe situation, it is being highly expected that NEET exam admit card 2020 might be postponed.

As per the daily reports, the Ministry of Human Resource and Development (MHRD) are involving themselves into the matter of NEET 2020 postponement. The senior official of NTA stated to the newspaper that the new NEET exam admit card dates will be announced only, once the lockdown ends on April 14. MHRD will be consulting the ministry of health for this matter.

To download NTA NEET admit card 2020 enter the application number, date of birth and security pin. Candidates appearing for NEET entrance exam on May 3, 2020, are required to verify details printed on the admit card. One must carry the hall ticket along at the exam centre for verification purpose with passport size photo, proforma with postcard size photo and relevant ID proof. NEET admit card 2020 copy will also be sent to the registered email ID.

However, no official confirmation has been made by NTA on nta.ac.in or ntaneet.nic.in, which is creating a speculative situation among 15,93,452 medical aspirants across the nation. During the hot issue of the national level medical exam to be postponed, the tweet on NEET admit card postponement news created a new confusion on whether NTA will release hall tickets or not.

However, NTA official helpdesk has advised students to stay updated through the official website www.ntaneet.nic.in. They also informed that there are high chances of NEET UG admit card 2020 postponed.

How to download NEET admit card 2020?

When released, ntaneet.nic.in NEET 2020 admit card can be downloaded by following the steps mentioned below:

• Visit the official website – ntaneet.nic.in

• Click on ‘download NEET admit card’ link

• Enter the required credentials – application number, DOB & security pin

• Verify the details mentioned on it

• Download and take a printout of admit card and proforma

• Paste the photograph and sign it wherever required
