PRIDE 2018 results announced by Periyar University

The results for PRIDE exams 2018 are out for the undergraduate and postgraduate students to check at Periyar University’s official website. The PRIDE exam was conducted in the month of February 2018. Students from the undergraduate and postgraduate stream who opted for the exams can check the results by using their registration number while logging in to the website. PRIDE examinations are a way get entry for the distance learning programmes available at the Periyar University. It is located in Salem with a name adapted from the renowned social reformed named E.V. Ramasamy who was affectionately called by the name “Thanthai Periyar”.

In order to facilitate distance learning for students, Periyar University went on to establish a directorate dedicated for distance education under the name PRIDE (Periyar Institute of Distance Education. The PRIDE directorate started operating with the year of 2001-2002.

Steps to check for the PRIDE results for the year 2018:

1-Open your default web browser and go to the official website for Periyar University: www.periyaruniversity.ac.in

2-Now check for a link on the home page itself with the subject “Results”.

3-Click on the same to be redirected to the next page.

4-Now after you enter the next page, enter all the credentials asked on the screen which includes Birth date and Registration number.

5-Submit all the entered credentials and wait for the results to load.

6-After the results are visible, you can easily download the same or opt to take home a printed version of the result.

The PRIDE exam was actually supposed to be held in the month of December last year. However certain issues led it to be postponed till February 2018.

Along with the results for PRIDE exams, Periyar University informed about the call out for revaluation results meant for the UICP examination that were conducted in the month of January 2018. Currently, Periyar University has begun the process for online application of CET (Common Entrance Test) designed for the students opting to study courses in M.Phil. and PhD.
