Registration for CBSE compartment exams 2018 starts for class 10 & 12

Post the announcement of the results for 10^th and 12^th boards by the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) has begun with the registration for the compartment exams meant for these students. These exams shall be held during the July 2018. Only the candidates who have submitted their names via online process shall be eligible to sit at the compartment examinations.

What is the last date for application for the CBSE 2018 Compartment Exams?

Students can register till June 21^st for the CBSE 10^th and 12^th examinations without having to pay the late fees.

Eligibility for Compartment Exams 2018

Class 10

The regular candidates that appeared for the March 2018 exams via their schools after registering for the affiliated boards and the ones declared as a compartment candidate shall be eligible for the process of application in one or more subjects that come under the compartment category.

Class 12

Candidates from the 12^th board who have appeared for the regular exams held this year in the month of March with a compartment status in any subject is eligible in order to apply for any one subject.

Admit Card

Candidates who have successfully registered for the compartment exams can easily download their respective admit cards by accessing CBSE’s official website www.cbse.nic.in. The admit cards shall be available for download starting July 2018 from the 2^nd week.

Registration of the affiliated schools by CBSE

• All the schools that are CBSE affiliated shall register themselves well before proceeding towards the online submission section.
• The “Affiliation Number” can be used as the User ID with the password already available to the user while registering.

Statistics

• For the 2018 Class 10 CBSE results published dated 20^th May, close to 1,86,067 students were marked for the compartment category.
• Out of the 11,84,386 students who attempted the 12^th board exams, about 91,818 students have been marked for the list of compartment examinations. The result for the board examinations was released dated 26^th

Steps to apply for the compartment examinations

• Visit cbse.nic.in.
• Look for the section named “Recent Announcements”.
• Click on the “Online Application for Class XII Compartment/ Class X Improvement of Performance Examination”.
• Now check for the “Online Submission of LOC for Compartment/IOP Exam 2018” or the section named “Online Application for Private Candidate for Comptt/IOP Examination 2018”.
• Select your suitable class link for 10^th or 12^th and proceed as per instructed by filling in all the relevant details.
